Who is KINTO

KINTO was established in 1972 as a wholesaler of porcelain/ceramic tableware in Shiga prefecture, Japan. In 1970’s, KINTO succeeds in distribution and wholesale made-in-Japan tableware business. From the mid. 1980’s, KINTO imported and distributed selected European tableware/glassware brands to Japan until 2000. In the mid. of 1990’s, we realized that Japanese people demanded new table and kitchen products fits to Japanese lifestyle, and after that period, we’ve been developing our original design products. KINTO has provided a great number of high-quality products with unique design in Japan. In 2009, KINTO started a full-scale export business, and nowadays, KINTO is spread around the world, and our products are welcomed in many nations.

KINTO Design Concept

All of KINTO products are based on Japanese sensible and conscientious ideas to make our lives comfortable. The original idea came from their product development team, which researches the people’s needs everyday and draw the original concepts of products. The team member picks to work a free-lance designer according to the targeted design code and materials, so we enjoy developing wide variety of products. We keep on producing fresh and unique designs with a Japanese viewpoint throughout a year.
